Register for Classes

After you schedule your courses in your plan using IVCC Self-Service, you can register beginning at 9am when registration opens for a term. If you have not scheduled your courses in your plan, visit Plan your Degree & Schedule your Courses.

Remember to visit Counseling to be sure you are staying on path for your certificate, degree, transfer, or if you are contemplating a career change.

Register for All Courses

To register for all courses in your plan:

  1. Go to IVCC Self-Service
  2. Log in (If you need help with logging in, see IVCC Self-Service Information)
  3. Choose Student Planning
  4. Choose #2 Plan Your Degree & Register for Classes
  5. Use the arrows to move to the appropriate semester
  6. Above your schedule grid, click Register Now

Register for Selected Courses

To register for one course at a time (this may be beneficial if you have more courses in your plan than what you plan on registering for due to selecting an extra section in case one section fills, still trying to decide between gen-eds, etc.):

  1. Go to IVCC Self-Service
  2. Log in (If you need help with logging in, see IVCC Self-Service Information)
  3. Choose Student Planning
  4. Choose #2 Plan Your Degree & Register for Classes
  5. Use the arrows to move to the appropriate semester
  6. Above your left list of courses, click Register for the appropriate course(s)
