Choir invites new singers

The Illinois Valley Community College choir invites singers from the community to join the group. Beginning January 27, the group meets from 6 to 8 p.m. on Mondays (except February 17 and March 10) in Room D-223.

The choir is open to anyone 16 years old and older, and no experience is necessary. “Singing in a group is a proven way to improve your health and mood. Our choir is very welcoming of new singers, as we are all here with the same goals in mind,” said Choir Director Jenilyn Roether.

The spring semester will culminate with a Spring Vocal Concert on Monday, April 28, at 7 p.m. For information or to join, email jenilyn_roether@ivcc.edu.
