IVCC Cybersecurity Camp Featured on CBS News

A group of pint-sized cyber crime-busters got noticed on national news recently! In the newest addition to IVCC’s summer camp series, these Cyber Crusaders received a fun but practical lesson in unmasking contemporary villains that are increasingly targeting kids.

The college’s Chief Information Security Officer, Brian Pichman, set out to empower the class to evade cyber-baddies and protect their digital identities, which caught the attention of a CBS news crew that included it in a feature about protecting our children online. The piece aired on local and national CBS newscasts on Aug. 26, 2024.
