Spring musical auditions set

Auditions for Illinois Valley Community College’s Spring musical, “Hello, Dolly!” will be held Sunday, January 12, 2025, at 2 p.m., and Monday, January 13, at 6:30 p.m. in the Dr. Mary Margaret Weeg Cultural Centre.

Auditions are open to the public and those auditioning are requested to prepare a song with musical backing track accompaniment (speakers will be provided on-site). Readings from the script and a dance combination will be taught at auditions.

The play will be performed April 3-13, 2025, and will feature a large cast of singers, dancers, and actors of all ages (16 years and older).

The musical is bursting with memorable tunes such as “Before the Parade Passes By,” “Put on Your Sunday Clothes,” and the signature showstopper, “Hello, Dolly!”
