Align and Assess ILOs with an Assignment or Discussion

Align an ILO to an Assignment or Discussion

1. Create or edit an assignment or a discussion topic
2. Click outcomes (between the name and the grade sections; if outcomes is not available, return to add ILOs to the course)
3. Select the ILO(s) aligned to this assignment or discussion
4. Click Save

Assess an ILO in an Assignment or Discussion

1. From the grades tool or quick eval, select the assignment or discussion
2. In the lower left-hand side of the grading view, go to the outcomes evaluation section
3. Click on the appropriate assessment response for each student
