Summer schedule takes effect next week

Illinois Valley Community College will begin observing its summer schedule on June 13. Both campuses will be closed on Fridays from June 13 through August 1 during the summer.

The college also will be closed Thursday, June 19, for the Juneteenth holiday and Thursday, July 3, for Independence Day (along with the closure on Friday, July 4).

The five-day schedule resumes the week of August 4. Campus Preview orientation for new students will be held on Friday, August 15, with fall classes beginning Monday, August 18. There is still time to register for fall classes.
