Pearson Vue is a global provider of computer-based testing for certification and licensure exams. Pearson Vue exams include GED, Illinois Insurance, Evaluation Systems, Comp TIA, and more

Scheduling and Taking Your Exam 

  • Visit www.pearsonvue.com/programs see what exams are available. Select the relevant test program, then, you can login or create an account to schedule your exam appointment. Once you schedule your appointment, you'll receive a confirmation email.  
  • You'll have to bring a valid form of ID in order to take your exam. Different exams have different ID requirements, requiring multiple forms of identification. You will receive a confirmation email with program-specific information. 
  • Typically, you will be asked to arrive 15-30 minutes prior to your scheduled appointment time, giving you enough time to visit the restroom, check-in, and store belongings prior to beginning your test. This information will be included in your confirmation email with program-specific information. 
  •  When you arrive for your exam, you will go through a standard admissions process. You'll be asked to provide your identification, agree in writing to a set of exam rules, sign a login sheet, and capture your photo and digital signature.   • All testers will receive a locker to store personal belongings. In addition, a proctor will make sure that you aren't bringing personal items into the testing room with a security screening. You'll be asked to turn out your pockets, run your hands around your waistline, pull back your hair to show your ears, roll up your sleeves, and/or lift your tie or hood to show that nothing is concealed.
