Changing or adding your program of study

My Program of Study (degree or certificate) is not listed under Graduation Overview in Self-Service, what do I do?

Do you need to update or change your program of study? View the catalog to see the degrees and certificates that are available. You can contact Counseling at 815-224-0360 during business hours to have your Program of Study (degree or certificate) added to your record or email counseling@ivcc.edu for someone to reach out to you. Please include your full name, student ID number and the Program of Study you want added.

Reasons you might change your program of study:

• Financial Aid eligibility
• Degree or certificate requirements have changed
• Returning student
• Applied for the wrong degree or certificate on initial application
• When submitting a graduation application, your degree or certificate is not listed in Self-Service.
• Changed your mind
• Recommended by your program coordinator
