Teen Career Exploration Camps
Are you unsure of what to study in college and what career path to choose? It’s never too early to start planning for your future! Spend your summer with us by enrolling in IVCC Career Exploration Camps.
Taught by IVCC faculty and local professionals, the goal of each camp is to expose participants to careers in various fields of study through interactive discussion and hands on simulation. Essential skills, needed to succeed not only on the job, but in life, will be incorporated into each camp.
Camps will cover careers in the following fields: Healthcare, Manufacturing, Automotive, STEM, Culinary, Trucking, Robotic Automation and Technology, and Welding. Camps are intended for ages 13-17. Gear Up is for ages 16-18. Each camp will be held in IVCC’s state of the art labs. Teen exploration camps are partially funded with grant awards.

PLC Bootcamp Programmable Logic Controllers
Ever wonder how robots and machines know what to do? In this fun, hands-on camp, you’ll learn to program real machines using PLCs, explore how buttons and sensors work, and complete cool challenges with your own code!
YES, CHEF! Teen Culinary Camp
Step into IVCC’s culinary classroom and explore the art of professional cooking with Chef Bobby Riahi in this three-day, hands-on culinary camp designed for teens passionate about food and the culinary industry.
Gear Up! IVCC Jr. Truck Driver Training
Students will learn from experienced pros, practice on our new simulators, take short trips in our vehicles, and gain the knowledge needed to start studying for a Commercial Driver’s Permit!
