Industrial Electrician Certificate – Your Skills, Your Speed, Your Success

IVCC’s Industrial Electrician Certificate is flexible training program offered in a Competency-Based Education (CBE) format. This approach allows students to progress at their own pace by demonstrating the skills and knowledge they've mastered, making it ideal for working adults or those with prior experience.

The program consists of four stackable modules

  1. Electrical Systems 1 Class ID: 30532
  2. Industrial Electronic Systems 1 Class ID: 30533
  3. Electric Motor Control Systems 1 Class ID: 25442
  4. Electrical Motor Troubleshooting Class ID: 25443
  5. Electrical Systems Installation 1 Class ID: 30238

Each module blends online instruction with required in-person lab-based skill demonstrations. Learners progress by mastering competencies, not seat time. Each module can be completed in 12 weeks or less. Start any module on any day of the month beginning August 14th, 2026, and attend lab at times that work for you. Earn micro-credentials along the way, and once modules are completed, you’ll be eligible for credit for prior learning. Students are not required to complete all five modules.
