All current, returning, or new students are encouraged to take advantage of One-On-One Support Sessions. This one-on-one conversation is to dive into your specific challenges or needs to ensure your success.
What is a SkillsMatch Demo for?
SkillsMatch helps individuals find what skills they already have from previous work experience, education, and more. It makes it easy by extracting skills from your resume, LinkedIn profile, education, job title, or category. It suggests relevant options. Access to SkillsMatch can be found at www.ivcc.edu/adult. A login is not required, but it will save their results if they choose to create one. This demo is to show you how to use SkillsMatch.
What is an Adult Student Support Session?
There are many obstacles in the way for adult students. This session is to discuss those challenges, offer support, provide resources, and answer any questions that you might have.

What is an Information Session for?
An Information Session is for incoming students, whether you have attended here before or if this is an entirely new experience. Topics to be covered are the admissions process, an overview of degree types and placement testing, Financial Aid, and supports that are available to you. We will end with a Q & A session. RSVP here.
