Associate of Applied Science Manufacturing Technology
What is Manufacturing Technology?
The bridge between manufacturing and engineering. Graduates use a combination of theory and “hands on” approach to complete tasks as needed by manufactures to improve quality and productivity.
Multiple Programs Available
Programs are setup for either a two year Associates or to transfer to multiple state universities. IVCC has partnered with NIU for a 3 + 1 program.
Hands On Training
IVCC has one of the best equipped labs in the Midwest utilizing Manual Machining,
Metrology, CAD, Rapid Prototyping, CNC, and CAD/CAM.
Classes are a combination of classroom and hands-on training, with day and night classes available to accommodate the student.
IVCC tuition is just one-third to one-fourth the cost of state universities and far
below most private institutions. An approximation of tuition and fees and cost comparison
can be found on the IVCC website (https://www.ivcc.edu/payment) and (https://www.ivcc.edu/save).
Many scholarship opportunities are available through the IVCC Foundation
(https://www.ivcc.edu/foundation) and Financial Aid is available for those who qualify (https://www.ivcc.edu/financialaid).
