What is Cannabis Production?

Students earning a Cannabis Production Certificate study the fundamentals of cannabis production, as well as economics and legal issues associated with hemp and marijuana production. Cannabis Production students apply agronomic techniques in pest management and soil fertility to cannabis cultivation practices.

Hands-On Training and Experience

Learn from experts in the cannabis industry and gain hands-on experience through an internship with a local cannabis company. IVCC Ag has partnered with Mid-American Growers, who will provide internships to students in the Cannabis Production Certificate program.

Program Options

Students can explore the field through a Cannabis Production Certificate and/or take those certificate courses earned and apply them to a full, two-year, AAS degree in Agronomy.
