General Education

These courses are transferable courses under the Illinois Articulation Initiative (IAI) and are transferable to all Illinois public universities and most other universities. These courses are at a discounted rate and tuition waivers are available for students qualifying for free or reduced lunch and tuition.

These courses are transferable courses into Illinois Valley Community College's Associate of Applied Science degrees or certificates and may transfer to some colleges. These courses are at no cost to the student. Contact your high school guidance counselor to register for these courses.

IVCC's Transfer Academy

Transfer Academy courses are available to students with permission to be released early from their high school to take college level courses in the afternoon at the IVCC Main Campus or Ottawa Center. These specially designated courses are at a discounted rate without lab fees and tuition waivers are available for students qualifying for free or reduced lunch and tuition. All other courses will be at full tuition plus any lab fees. If interested, contact your high school guidance counselor to see if this is an option.
